Participate in the Barometer research
Achieving Sustainable Development Goal 16 (SDG 16)—promoting peace, justice, and strong institutions—requires national, regional, and international cooperation. The Legal Rights Protection Barometer plays a key role in this effort by fostering a global network of stakeholders committed to legal inclusion and empowerment.
There is an urgent need for policy support at both national and international levels to expand the Barometer’s impact. Stronger support would enable broader implementation, allowing more stakeholders to:
- Initiate new Barometer research in different countries or join existing teams
- Adopt the Comprehensive Legal Empowerment Plan in specific regions
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Barometer methodology, enhancing its effectiveness for legal empowerment.
We invite stakeholders from various sectors to use the Legal Rights Protection Barometer as a tool to promote legal inclusion and become part of a Global Network for SDG 16, including:
- Policy makers & funding organizations
- Research institutes, universities & statistical agencies
- Humanitarian and development agencies
- Lawyers, legal professionals & human rights organizations
- Advocacy, public communication & lobbying experts
- ICT & innovation specialists
- Environmental protection organizations
